What part will you play?

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment seeks an Associate Manager, Events for the Selling department.
  • Manages event logistics across participants (e.g. WBIE staff, partner staff, vendors and contractors) from conception to execution. Coordinate and execute pre-show, on-site, and post-show event logistics, including but not limited to shipping, inventory, equipment installation, staff scheduling, F&B orders, and registration.
  • Identifies vendors and contractors to provide event services. Puts out RFPs and negotiates venues and with vendors for services on pricing and contracts. Directs vendors and service providers, including production companies, promotional vendors and printers to ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables. Serves as a single point of accountability for all services provided.
  • Develops overall event budgets and manages all costs associated with events, including venues, construction, giveaways, pre-event marketing campaigns, T&E, etc. Presents overall budgets to senior management for approval. Tracks and manages all expenses to budgets and provides updated budget vs. actuals to finance for forecasting.
  • Manages all event related technologies. Ensures that all required gaming equipment has been ordered, tested, and tracked through WB asset management systems. Creates and communicates installation, dismantle and staffing plans with key stakeholders. Facilitates the ordering and secure delivery of game builds, as well as the installation and removal of builds from hardware. Acts as point person to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues when they arise.
  • Spearheads the procurement of all AV equipment while ensuring compatibility with hardware and developer/presenter requirements. Stays current with emerging technologies and how they apply to events.
  • Develops presentations and product roadshows for key retail accounts. Works with distribution partners to integrate their products into retail presentations and coordinates partner involvement in retail events. Coordinates key account meetings across WBIE and partner participants and facilitates necessary support (e.g. technical components for game demos, AV needs, etc.).
  • Assists with the development and execution of retail, trade, consumer, and internal event strategy.
  • Assists with the design and production of event artwork, facilitating the submission of assets to creative agencies and securing final artwork approvals from internal brand teams.
  • Manage event communications to internal/external teams as well as responsible for updating monthly events calendar, and managing department e-mail accounts.
  • Manages vendor payment process, setting up new vendors, creating/managing purchase orders, routing contracts to legal team, and updating event budget tracking documents.
  • Manages lodging process; researches hotel options, contracts hotel group blocks, collects and maintains rooming lists, and distributes hotel confirmations.
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science/Networking and/or applicable work experience.
  • 4+ years work experience in event development, production, and logistics management.
  • Must be able to bring various industry contacts into the position.
  • Understand current trends and emerging technology in Tech/games. Previous games experience strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology, including but not limited to:
    • Audio/Video formats and the required cabling used.
    • File format (mov, mp4, Apple Pro-res, etc.) and hardware compatibility.
    • Basic level home networking/internet skills and knowledge of terminology.
    • Gaming console knowledge e.g. manufacturers at, menu navigation, AV connection and installation.
  • Possess a passion for the gaming industry.
  • Previous entertainment experience strongly preferred.
  • Social media strategy/marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with stage management and live event production desired.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, PhotoShop, graphics, social media a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel upwards of 30% or more as needed.
