What part will you play?

Warner Bros. Games Inc. seeks an Analyst, User Acquisition & Ad Monetization (Contractor) for the WBG San Francisco User Acquisition department. The Analyst will help drive growth to the company’s mobile games portfolio by acquiring high quality users through all channels (incl. paid performance based channels) and maximizing the user value through alternate monetization. The Analyst will be extremely detail oriented, with a strong understanding of mobile game customer lifecycle management.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, User Acquisition and Ad Monetization, this role is crucial to driving Warner Bros. goals in mobile games.

  • Develop, launch, and manage user acquisition campaigns to successfully drive quality users to our games with a core focus on maximizing ROI and cost efficiency.
  • Support advertising monetization initiatives and operations. Identify and execute alternate growth strategies while tracking and optimizing current integrations against business goals.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to refine acquisition and monetization strategies.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

What do we require from you?
  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience and success.
  • 1-2 years of experience in media buying, user acquisition, performance marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong familiarity with iOS, Android and Facebook games, marketplaces, trends and best practices.
  • Understanding of free-to-play and micro-transaction based business models.
  • Blend of creativity and analytical skill with a strong results-oriented, metrics-drive approach to problem solving.
  • Experience optimizing campaigns and adjusting bids based on RoAS and LTV.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with third party media partners (incl. ad networks, DSPs, exchanges, etc.).
  • Experience with Looker, Tableau, and other data visualization platforms a plus.
  • Experience with AppAnnie, SensorTower, or other market intelligence products a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Flexibility to travel to Warner Bros. studios as required.
  • Attendance at industry conferences as required.
