Warner Bros. Games seeks an Analyst, User Acquisition & Ad Monetization for the WBG San Francisco UA Analytics department. Warner Bros. is a top video games publisher and we continue to expand by adding great people and leveraging the best portfolio of brands and intellectual property in the industry. We are looking to add enthusiastic, talented and experienced professionals to our Mobile Publishing team.

What part will you play?

The Analyst will help drive growth to the company’s mobile games portfolio by acquiring high quality users through all channels (incl. paid performance based channels) and maximizing the user value through alternate monetization. The Analyst will be extremely detail oriented, with a strong understanding of mobile game customer lifecycle management.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, User Acquisition and Ad Monetization, this role is crucial to driving Warner Bros. aggressive goals in mobile games.
  • Assist in designing and executing user acquisition campaigns to cost effectively and successfully drive quality users to our games.
  • Support alternative monetization initiatives and operations (incl. advertising monetization). Identify and execute alternate growth strategies while tracking and optimizing current integrations against business goals.
  • Build queries and models to automate reporting and analysis. Develop analytical models from our extensive data set to streamline acquisition and monetization operations.
  • Other duties as required.
What do we require from you?
  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Mathematics.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong familiarity with iOS, Android and Facebook games, marketplaces, trends and best practices.
  • Understanding of free-to-play and micro-transaction based business models.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to make informed recommendations.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with mobile game user acquisition trends, techniques, and best practices.
  • A love for data and modeling.
  • Comfort in presenting complicated material to diverse audiences; strong ‘soft skills’.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (incl. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Looker, Tableau, and other data visualization platforms a plus.
  • Experience with AppAnnie and Sensor Tower Market Intelligence products a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines and locations to achieve results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment and prioritize work to meet specific deadlines required.
  • Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Flexibility to travel to Warner Bros. studios as required.
  • Attendance at industry conferences as required.
  • Passion/knowledge about games is a must!
