WB Games Inc. seeks a Senior QA Tester for its San Francisco Studio.

What part will you play?

As a Senior QA Tester, you must be an expert in gray-box and black-box testing techniques, specialize in mobile gaming space. Not only are you an amazing tester, you have the leadership chops to mentor game testers to achieve quality at each stage of the development cycle.

You will work closely with the rest of the game team, communicating issues directly to Producers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers. As an integral part of the team, you will champion the culture of quality, author meaningful test plans, recommend process improvements, and own the bug process.
  • Find, research and report bugs in Jira/Hansoft.
  • Write, maintain and execute Test Cases as necessary.
  • Prioritize, assign and delegate tasks to QA testers on a daily basis.
  • Track daily/weekly progress of projects to ensure releases are on schedule.
  • Gather and report test metrics.
  • Clearly communicate overall health of the product to key stakeholders via status updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What do we require from you?
  • 4+ years QA Experience.
  • 2+ years of mobile testing experience.
  • Knowledge of iOS/Android development and iOS/Android QA testing experience.
  • Experience creating and executing test cases from functional specifications.
  • Experience writing test plans and forming test processes.
  • Previous experience leading projects and working with outsource team.
  • Extensive understanding of the iOS/Android platform and device offerings.
  • Must be a team player, able to lead a team and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for mobile games and experience with the free-to-play model.
  • Other duties as assigned.
